Affiliate Link FAQ's

What is an affiliate link?
For an affiliate to earn credit for a sale, the customer must use their affiliate link to reach the product page. Then, if a sale is made, PayGear will automatically track the sale and award credit to the affiliate.

What does the affiliate link format look like?
Your affiliate link will be in the following format http://paygear.com/VENDOR-ID/AFFILIATE-NAME If an affiliate also wishes to use tracking, it will be appended to the end of the link as follows. http://paygear.com/VENDOR-ID/AFFILIATE-NAME/TRACKING

How long do you track referrals?
We track referrals up to one year, so as an affiliate if you send a customer to a site and they come back a year later and make a purchase, you still receive credit for the sale.

Are you positive I will receive credit for my referral even if the customer tries to remove my affiliate link?
We use the absolute best tracking system possible to date, so you can bet we do everything in our power to track each and every order, as it’s vital to our business. However, the system makes the final decision on each order, and that decision is fair and not up for debate.

Is there a way for me to test my affiliate link to make sure it’s working?
Yes, enter your affiliate link into the browser and load the page, then click the order button located on that vendor’s page. You should then see your PayGear username located at the bottom of the page.

I would rather use a redirect tool with my affiliate link. Is that okay?
Yes. Not only is it okay, PayGear supplies its members with a free redirect tool that can be found under the Affiliate Tools tab.
